-LEADING YOUR SHOTS-
From time to time, or even often, you'll have to deal with lag. This is inevitable and unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it. There's no reason to insult or berate another player for lagging. Often times if you see other players teleporting etc. it's you who's lagging, not them. None the less, they can't control their lag just as much as you can't, so while it's frustrating and annoying, don't insult other players for lagging. No one will blame you for being upset at lag in general in a match, but, don't take it out on other players specifically.
In any event, there are some ways to cope with lag to an extent. When lag is bad, you can hit an opponent dead on and even see the blood splatter out of them, yet you'll notice your score didn't go up and the game didn't recognize your hit. That's because of lag. It means that the game is 'showing' you this player on your screen in one spot when he's really NOT in that exact spot and therefore hitting that spot where he is on your screen is not going to count.
In order to compensate for this, you need to Lead your shots. This means blind firing to a degree. If you see an opponent running to your right, don't fire at them but instead fire a few feet in front of them. Often times you can catch an opponent this way as even though on your screen you shot thin air, the game recognizes where the player truly was which was in that spot and you get the points for it.
If you're shooting in front of someone and it's still not working, try shooting a few feet behind them to catch them. Again, dealing with lag is annoying for anyone and we ALL have to deal with laggy or teleporting players at times. So you need to just bare with it and try leading your shots to cope with it. I've beaten many laggy players before by leading my shots, then other times it doesn't work. But, it should at least give you a chance. Good Luck.
