Better Accuracy with Weapons
This is especially useful with the Magnum. The Magnum can kill a player in 2 hits, however, it has a huge recoil if you miss with it, leaving you incredibly open to attack. Many players also find it difficult to land accurate shots with the Magnum as well, especially from a distance because of that recoil and it's low ammo count.
The best way around this is to simply use the scope on the sniper rifle to zoom in on the shot you wish to take, and then quick fire your Magnum immediately after the same as you would a quick fire rocket. Simply hotkey the magnum to one of the hotkey slots in your inventory, in this example we'll say you placed it into the 'Up' position in your inventory. After you've zoomed in on a players head with the sniper rifle for example, simply press Up on your Dpad and then immediately press fire. You'll land a perfect head shot with your magnum.
Now keep in mind this isn't viable in close range fights because for one, your opponent isn't going to stand still with you next to them, and two, you're only opening yourself to attack by aiming with one gun and switching to another before you even attack. So this tactic is best used for ranged shots with the magnum.
Keep in mind, if you're not getting points for a clear headshot with the magnum, it's due to lag. Refer to my section on Leading your shots to counteract that.
