Burst Firing Machine Guns

-BURST FIRE MACHINE GUNS-

Machine Guns are powerful at close range but suffer at long range from both power and accuracy. In order to compensate for this, you should burst fire your MG at range rather than simply hold down the fire button. This means simply firing a bullet or two and releasing the button before pressing it again. This will essentially fire it in small bursts and keep it's accuracy up. If you simply spam a machine gun, it will begin to 'spread' fire up and down and left and right in an inconsistant notion. This destroys it's accuracy and is the reason why you can fire fifty bullets at someone and only have 3 of them count.

If you burst fire, all of your shots will flow in a single accurate line and never suffer from the recoil that causes the inaccuracy. Now keep in mind the machine gun does less damage the farther the opponent is, unlike the handgun which does the same damage from up close as it does from range. But, burst firing will help you land shots from a distance rathern waste ammo.
