-QUICK FIRING ROCKETS-
One of the most important tactics on the game is Quick Firing a Rocket. Keep in mind this tactic works for 'any' gun, not just the rocket, however it's the most useful for the Rocket Launcher because it completely removes the setup time needed to launch a rocket at an opponent.
First you need a Rocket Launcher obviously. Once you've collected one, place it in one of the hotkeys of your inventory (aka up, down, left or right spots with the arrows on them). For the sake of this example we're going to say you placed your Rocket Launcher in the "Up" arrow of your inventory.
Now simply switch to your handgun or whatever gun you wish and aim your gun normally. Place the laser sight of your gun onto whatever you wish to shoot at, again like normal. Now instead of pressing the fire button, press "Up" on your d-pad (not on the analog stick), then immediately press the fire button.
If you did it correctl you will have instantly shot the Rocket off without ever actually having equipped the rocket launcher. And it will have landed exactly where your laser sight with your previous gun was.
If however you ended up taking out the launcher and aiming manually with it, then you've done it wrong. Remember, you need to switch to the Launcher and IMMEDIATELY press the fire button to quick fire it.
