-SAVE YOUR PARTNER BY KILLING HIM-
Let's use some logic here that a lot of new players lack. If your partner is in dying status and you have no heals on you and the other team is standing in front of him, Resucitating him with 'B' is one of the single worst things you can do. You're reviving him to zero health so ANY single shot from any gun or a knife is going to put him back into dying status. If they have a shotgun aimed at you while you're in the revive animation, your partner is getting put into dying status again and you're going to lose health as well.
This happens so often that newbies get themselves killed as well trying to revive their partner because they 'think' it's the right thing to do. They're trying to be 'noble' and save their partner, but, it's the worst tactic.
If you have no heals on you and the other team is close by, reviving your partner is a terrible idea.
Instead, if you have an incindinary grenade on you for example, toss it at your partner and burn them. This will cost you to lose 1000 points but that is it. The other team will NOT get points for killing him, and they won't get the extra 4500 points for a melee bonus either. So alls you've done is lost 1000 points and nothing more. Meanwhile your partner is now revived with full health and is no longer in danger.
If you don't have any flame grenades, you can burn them with flame rounds from a grenade launcher, blow them up with explosive rounds from a grenade launcher or hand grenade. You can set a Proximity mine at their feet then shoot it to blow them up, etc. There's many ways to kill your partner and 'save' him from handing extra points to your opponents.
You can also use the spike trap on experimental facility to your advantage. If your partner is low on health, rather than trying to find a heal or take on the other team with your partner in bad condition, bring him to the spike trap and have him walk into it, then use it on him. The first time will put him in dying status. Then use it on him again to kill him. Again, this makes you lose 1000 points, nothing more. It lets your partner revive in full health and makes him no longer a danger or easy target for your opponents. Simply grab whatever weapon he drops from his corpse to prevent the other team from getting it. If you're a nice player you'll give it back to your partner when you see him :P
You can also run into the furnace on Missile Area, but, I'll get more into that in the next tactic.
