-USING A 'DYING' OPPONENT AS BAIT-
This is very simple and often effective. If you put one player in Dying status, instead of melee'ing him, leave him in dying status and wait for his teammate to come over and try to revive or heal him. If you time it right, you can perform a melee on that dying player right as his teammate comes up to him and they will get hit by your melee as well which will instantly put them in dying status now as well.
If the other player heals their partner but you hit them with a melee, they'll get back up in dying status again. So now you've gotten 2 melee bonus' in one.
If the other player resucitates their partner, just aim a shotgun at them and wait for the animation to finish. They are both invulnerable during the animation but, once it finishes, you can shotgun the one player back into dying status and deal damage to his partner at the same time. Often times newbie players will continue to resucitate their partner over and over allowing you to keep putting them back into dying while killing his partner at the same time until his partner is put into dying himself.
If you don't have a shotgun, simply stand in front of them and aim your knife. The knife will do the same thing of instantly putting the revived player back into dying while also dealing damage to the partner (Unless you're Jill).
Lastly, if you have two powerful players you're dealing with who are very effective together, simply remove one from the equation temporarily by putting him into dying and leaving him like that while you deal with his partner.
This makes the other player unable to help or do anything for about 10-15 seconds while his partner is forced to handle you and your partner by themselves for a short duration. This can be invaluable if the other team is extremely good and hard to take down. If you instantly kill his partner, he'll respawn and be able to assist his partner again and they can regroup. But, if he's stuck in dying status, it's 2vs1 for a short duration which may be enough time to kill his partner and get a much needed shotgun or other weapon off of them if they've been hoarding them the entire match without you having them yourselves.
